Under the title, “Configuring the future of the hospitality industry in mountain destinations”, the congress will be tackling this topic from various angles, ranging from the repositioning of tourist accommodation to the challenges in the hospitality industry, covering the impact of new tourist service platforms, artificial intelligence and training as key elements in assessing the success of a destination.

Speeches will be given by around 30 international specialists and professionals over six sessions taking place in a round table format during the first two days of the Congress. The third day will be more technical in nature with a variety of visits and activities.

The World Congress on Snow and Mountain Tourism is an initiative of the seven parishes and the Government of Andorra together with the World Tourism Organisation and takes place every two years.

Dates and location: From 21-23 March 2018 in Escaldes-Engordany. The work sessions will take place at the Andorra la Vella Congress Centre on 21 and 22 March.
